Revsund Lodge

REVSUND LODGE

It lies beautifully on the slope down towards Revsund Lake. The lodge was originally built in 1874 and with its three floors one of the largest of its kind. Here the horses pulled the tread as a torn grain. Here the hay was packed tight for winter’s needs. Today, the lodge is used by villagers and others for parties, cultural evenings, meetings, etc.

Inside the lodge is interesting copy of an elk antlers, which was considered till 1982 as  the largest antlers in Sweden, which measures 414 points. The new record is the antlers of Leif Jacobsson from Vuoller – the trophy has 420.2 points.
